O’Dea Formally Endorses Fulop

Fulop

This was supposed to be the other way around.

It was supposed to be gubernatorial candidate Steve Fulop endorsing Freeholder Bill O’Dea for mayor of Jersey City.

Things didn’t work out that way, and O’Dea demonstrated more than a touch of class tonight when he showed up at Zeppelin Hall without a pout – and backed Steve Fulop’s reelection as mayor.

He went all in with his comments, praising Fulop’s commitment to the city, and vowing the full engagement of his West Side base to the cause of the incumbent mayor.

The Fulop fundraiser featured a beefy roster of insiders, among them state Senator Sandy Cunningham (D-31), Assemblymembers Angela McKnight and Raj Mukherji, Freeholders Junior Maldonado and Anthony Romano, Freeholder-to-be Jerry Walker, and JC Councilmembers Rolando Lavarro, Daniel Rivera, Jermaine Robinson and Frank Gajewski.
