U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9) this morning said he supports reinstalling Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, while U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-5) was noncommittal.

Queried by InsiderNJ, Gottheimer said he wants a candidate for the job who can bring change and bring people together but didn’t mention any names.

Pascrell had initially backed U.S. Rep. Joe Crowley of New York for the job, but Crowley lost his Democratic Primary reelection bid to U.S. Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
