Newark: Today, Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin announced she is endorsing Michael J. Silva’s run for Newark’s East Ward city council seat. The Assemblywoman’s endorsement is a crucial endorsement for Silva’s campaign to be the next council member for Newarks’ East Ward.

“Michael represents the best that the East Ward has to offer when it comes to civil servants,”  said Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin. “Michael spent nearly two decades as our Community Services Detective and his experience helping members of our community gives him a leg up on the other candidates in this race. I know from first hand experience that Michael will work tirelessly everyday to ensure that the East Ward is finally given the respect it deserves.”
