The 2021 Somerset County Swearing-in Ceremony and Reorganization Meeting Will be Held Virtually on Friday, Jan. 8

SOMERVILLE – To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Somerset County Board of Commissioners will hold its 2021 swearing-in ceremony and reorganization meeting virtually on Friday, Jan. 8.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. and can be viewed live on Somerset County’s Facebook page, YouTube channel or website.

The ceremony will include the swearing in of Commissioners-elect Paul Drake and Douglas Singleterry and Surrogate-elect Bernice “Tina” Jalloh. Also scheduled to be sworn in during the reorganization are Somerset County Administrator Colleen Mahr and Engineer Matthew Loper.

The annual reorganization meeting will take place at 2 p.m. and can be viewed live on Somerset County’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SomersetCountyNJ) or on Zoom.
