Newark, NJ (November 14, 2019) – Humanitarian Michael Gray and Save Our Nations. Inc. present the 5th Annual Dream Maker Scholarship Awards to honor public servants, business leaders and humanitarians in Greater Newark, NJ. The event will be hosted on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Rutgers University, Paul Robeson Center, Newark, NJ.
This year’s fundraiser will continue to raise funds for young people affected by fatal diseases in the African Diaspora, including Newark students, with book scholarships. Last year the fundraiser gave scholarships and school supplies to students in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Newark, New Jersey.

The prestigious list of individual honorees at this year’s charity fundraiser includes William D. Payne, Deborah Smith-Gregory, The Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Sharon Berry, Robert N. Davison and Dr. Jung Tsai. “This year, we hope to expand our efforts in providing educational support to Newark students,” said Michael Gray, Founder of Save Our Nations. “We are excited to recognize these distinguished honorees for their contributions to the community and want to thank our sponsors and recognize the commitments of our volunteers in making our program a success” Gray added.
The evening will include: Music by Award Winning DJ Levi Jones, and the Music Box Band. Photography and Video Services by Derek Moore and Interior Design by Steve Hill. Commentator, Kyle Abercrombie will host the program.
