ACLU-NJ Testifying in Legislature Today & This Week:
Driver’s Licenses Today, and Thurs Marijuana, Voting, Expungement
TRENTON – The ACLU of New Jersey testifies this morning before lawmakers at an Assembly Transportation Committee hearing urging the legislature to pass A4743, which would expand access to driver’s licenses to all qualified drivers in the Garden State.
On Thursday, Dec. 12, the ACLU-NJ will testify on several other bills, including ones to: amending the Constitution to legalize marijuana, reforming expungement, restoring voting rights to people on probation and parole, and another hearing on driver’s licenses in the Senate.
