Advocates to Bring Housing Affordability and Stability Concerns to NJ Officials During Virtual Legislative Day

WHAT: Over 100 New Jersey residents and housing advocates will meet with members of the NJ Senate and Assembly during the Housing & Community Development Network of NJ’s (the Network) annual Legislative Day to urge support for policy initiatives that address the state’s housing crisis. Advocates will press elected officials to fully fund the NJ Affordable Housing Trust Fund, implement post-pandemic housing protections for tenants and homeowners, support legislation to “ban the box,” and end childhood lead poisoning prevention.

WHO: Legislative sponsors of community development related policies will address advocates during issue-specific sessions. Advocates representing NJ’s 21 counties will be in attendance.
