AFSCME Director Steve Tully Statement on the Passing of Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver

“Everyone at AFSCME New Jersey Council 63 is incredibly saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver.

“LG Oliver was a fierce advocate for working people, and a lifetime public servant who was dedicated to making New Jersey a better place for all. We are honored to have had the opportunity to work so closely with her in an effort to keep New Jersey’s essential services running smoothly and efficiently for all residents and making the lives of working people better.
