After Positive Polling Gustafson Loans Campaign $100,000

Gustafson: “We are in it to win it.”

COLLINGSWOOD – Fresh off an internal poll, conducted by a firm that has been accurately predicting New Jersey elections, that has her within five points of Donald Norcross Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s First Congressional District, Claire Gustafson, loaned her campaign $100,000 today.

“Between our data and anecdotal evidence that Democrats have numbers very similar to our numbers we know we have our best chance at finally kicking the political cartel out of South Jersey,” Claire Gustafson said. “We are in it to win it. That’s why after much prayer and discussion with my family I have decided to make a sizable investment in my own campaign.”

“Make no mistake, this campaign is about more than just flipping CD1.” Gustafson continued, “I will do as I have always done and help down ballot races. In Gloucester County we have an excellent opportunity to elect two more Commissioners and a County Clerk, at the municipal level our data shows we can help win seats in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester County. We intend to help them win.”

“I’m not a wealthy woman, nor is my brother the head of a political cartel, I am hopeful my investment gets donors off the sidelines because we know this race is going to cost more than $100,000. Every dollar I spend forces the money of the South Jersey political cartel to stay right here in CD1 and not help targeted Democrats which makes this campaign a good investment for any Republican,” Gustafson said.
