DOVER, N.J. – Dover Alderwoman Sandra Wittner and her running mate Karol Ruiz were today endorsed by Our Revolution New Jersey, ahead of the Democratic primary on June 7th.

Wittner, who represents the Dover’s First Ward, is seeking a third term on the Board of Alderman. Ruiz is challenging incumbent Third Ward Alderman and Dover Democratic Committee Chair Edward Correa.

The candidates released the following statement upon learning of the endorsement:

“We are so deeply grateful to the folks at Our Revolution. It is our honor to serve the people and advance the issues that will bring sustainability and equity for us in Dover and throughout our state. Stay tuned for additional endorsements including from our very own Dover residents and for ALL of our Dover Forward candidates!”

Wittner and Ruiz, along with their fellow Dover Forward running mates Bert Quiñones and Marcos Tapia, were endorsed by the Morris County Democratic Committee in March and will share Column 1 with Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill.
