Analilia Mejia Files Over 2,200 Signatures to Secure Spot on NJ-11 June Democratic Primary Ballot

Glen Ridge, NJ — Today, Analilia Mejia, the Democratic Nominee for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District in the April Primary, announced that her campaign has officially submitted 2,202 signatures to qualify for the ballot in the June 2, 2026 Democratic primary in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.

The strong showing, far exceeding the required number of 500 signatures, reflects growing grassroots momentum and widespread support from voters across the district who are ready for new leadership focused on lowering costs and standing up for working families.

Analilia Mejia enters this next phase of the race with the backing of a broad coalition of leaders, including Representatives Donald Norcross, Herb Conaway, Frank Pallone, Rob Menendez, Nellie Pou, LaMonica McIver, and Bonnie Watson Coleman, as well as U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Andy Kim, and Governor Mikie Sherrill.

Her campaign is also supported by major labor organizations, including SEIU 32BJ, 1199SEIU, CWA District 1, the SEIU New Jersey State Council, CWA Local 1037, Rutgers AAUP-AFT, Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union, the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, AFSCME New Jersey Council 63, the National Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, the Amalgamated Transit Union New Jersey State Council, and the New Jersey State Council of Machinists.
