Andy Kim Announces Endorsement from Everytown for Gun Safety

MARLTON, NJ — Today, Rep. Andy Kim announced that he has received support from Everytown for Gun Safety | Moms Demand Action. Andy has been a champion for gun safety legislation since entering the House in 2018, and proudly supported bipartisan bills ensuring background checks on all gun sales and closing the Charleston loophole.

“Andy is a true leader on the issue of gun safety and keeping our communities safe. He fought for real action on background checks on all gun sales, red flag laws, and closing loopholes during his first term in office, and I am proud to support him for reelection. With Andy as our voice in Washington, New Jersey families, advocates, activists and survivors know they have an ally fighting alongside them for meaningful change on this critical issue.” – Karen Tillman, volunteer leader with the New Jersey chapter of Moms Demand Action.

“When I first ran for Congress, I stood with Moms Demand Action and promised to do everything I could to keep our kids safe. Today, I’m proud to receive their endorsement for reelection,” said Congressman Andy Kim. “As a dad to two young boys, I’m determined to create a better future for all of our children and that starts by supporting the incredible work of Moms Demand Action and gun safety advocates everywhere.”
