Andy Kim Announces Endorsement from Everytown for Gun Safety

MARLTON, NJ — Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced he has been endorsed for reelection by the Everytown for Gun Safety.

“Each person in this country deserves to be free from fear and for their families to be able to spend time in public without worrying about the potential danger of gun violence,” said Congressman Kim. “The majority of Americans support measures that prevent gun violence. We are not outliers in wanting to address this public crisis to protect our families and our communities. With Everytown, we will continue to build a coalition against this violence and give our children a safer future.”

In a statement released on September 1st, John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund said, “After working together to break the 26-year logjam on gun safety legislation in Congress, these proven leaders are committed to building on that momentum.Ending our gun violence epidemic requires passing strong gun laws, and that requires electing strong gun safety champions like the candidates we’re endorsing today.”

Congressman Kim is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $5 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
