Andy Kim Receives National Security Leaders for America’s Endorsement

MARLTON, NJ — Today, Andy Kim announced he has been endorsed for reelection by National Security Leaders for America.

“Service has always been at the heart of what I do,” said Andy Kim. “When I served our country as a civilian advisor to generals in war zones, no one asked me if I was a Republican or a Democrat.We were all just serving our country together. Now I represent joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and have made serving servicemembers, their families, and our veterans a top priority. I was able to secure funding for a new state-of-the-art VA health clinic which will make services more accessible to New Jersey veterans who need them. I was also honored to be named this year’s Legislator of the Year by the New Jersey VFW. My support for veterans is unwavering and I’m grateful for the endorsement of National Security Leaders for America.

209 members of National Security Leaders for America signed a letter stating: “Andy Kim is prepared to stand up against all that imperils our democracy. He will stand up to those who use violence to achieve political ends. He will stand up to people who lie about elections to protest outcomes they do not like. He will stand up to those who prefer the rule of authoritarians. He will stand up to those who circumvent the law to install their preferred candidates against the will of the people. He will stand up to those who think their power lets them trample regular people’s inalienable rights.

“Andy Kim is a national security expert who dedicated his career to serving our country. He has worked under both Democrats and Republicans, serving at the State Department, the Pentagon, and the National Security Council. Kim also served as a civilian advisor in war zones under Generals Petraeus and Allen. In Congress, he sees his job as service, not partisan politics. Kim is focused on tackling the rising cost of living, supporting local small businesses, expanding health benefits for veterans and seniors, and getting corporate special interests out of politics once and for all. “

Andy Kim has also received endorsements for reelection from American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO), End Citizens United (ECU) / Let America Vote, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), League of Conservation Voters (LCV), VoteVets, Giffords Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety, Sierra Club, and Teamsters Local 676, Joint Council 53, Brady PAC, AAPI Victory Fund, and New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police (NJFOP), among others.

Congressman Kim is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $6 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
