Andy Kim Receives New Jersey Building & Construction Trades Council (NJBCTC) Endorsement

MARLTON, NJ — Today, Andy Kim announced he has been endorsed for reelection by the New Jersey Building & Construction Trades Council (NJBCTC).

“Investing in our infrastructure is one of the most basic functions of our government,” said Andy Kim. “We need roads and bridges – we need to travel safely from state to state, and have a safe roof over our heads. These are issues that we can all agree on, regardless of party. I was proud to reach across the aisle to pass bipartisan infrastructure legislation to support projects that provide good paying jobs for New Jersey families. And I’m grateful for the endorsement from NJBCTC, whose members build our communities, and I look forward to working together to rebuild New Jersey.”

“In today’s hyper-partisan environment, the tens of thousands of men and women of the trades are looking for leaders in Washington who are willing to put the bickering aside and actually get things done for our hard-working families,” said NJBCTC President William T. Mullen. “In the Building Trades, we focus on one thing, building. The more we build, the better we can provide for our families and colleagues. The candidates we’ve endorsed today share our passion and commitment to growing the economy and investing in our infrastructure so that New Jersey continues to set an example for states around the nation.”

Andy Kim has also received endorsements for reelection from American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO), End Citizens United (ECU) / Let America Vote, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), League of Conservation Voters (LCV), VoteVets, Giffords Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety, Sierra Club, and Teamsters Local 676, Joint Council 53, Brady PAC, AAPI Victory Fund, and New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police (NJFOP), among others.

Congressman Kim is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $5 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
