ARATI KREIBICH FILES FOR PRIMARY BALLOT WITH OVER 1,200 SIGNATURES

Glen Rock, NJ – Today, Arati Kreibich’s campaign for Congress in NJ-5 announced filing for the June 2nd primary ballot with 1,289 signatures, more than six times the minimum requirement of 200. The signatures come from all four counties in NJ-5 and were collected by over 60 volunteers.

The filing comes on the heels of the Working Families Party’s endorsement of Arati Kreibich yesterday and represents a continued show of strength and momentum for the campaign. Arati Kreibich released the following statement with the filing:

“I am so proud of our grassroots campaign and all our volunteers for accomplishing this monumental task. Our campaign successfully gathered over 1,200 signatures before ceasing in-person signature gathering in mid-March due to the COVID-19 crisis.

“Since then, our volunteers have pivoted to making calls, sending texts, and reaching out to their personal networks about our campaign to elect a scientist to Congress who will fight for healthcare for all and paid sick leave while refusing corporate PAC donations.”
