Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi Endorses Serena DiMaso
A statement from Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi:
I have been privileged to serve alongside Serena in the Assembly Republican Caucus and also as co-chairs of the Assembly Bipartisan Women’s Caucus. She has been nothing but a steadfast fighter for responsible policies and her expertise in public safety has been integral as we’ve faced the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when our State is faced with increasing fiscal problems and an ongoing public health crisis, we need more leaders like Serena, not less. I have watched, firsthand, Serena passionately stand up for what is good and what is right — a loud voice of reason amongst chaos. I know what it is like to be one of a few women in the Legislature.
We cannot afford to lose a strong and fierce leader like Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso. It is easy to make promises when running for office, but it is a separate feat to actually have made substantive accomplishments – Serena has done just that. She represents and serves her constituents while simultaneously working to make New Jersey a better place to live and work. Together, Assemblywoman DiMaso and I have fought for fiscal conservatism and have co-sponsored important legislation to protect survivors of sexual assault.
Serena is the type of leader we need more of in Trenton and I support her re-election to the Legislature.
