BARBARA ANN REILLY, President of the Brick Democratic Club in OCEAN COUNTY ENDORSES HELEN DELA CRUZ FOR OCEAN COUNTY FREEHOLDER

BARBARA ANN REILLY, President of the Brick Democratic Club in OCEAN COUNTY ENDORSES HELEN DELA CRUZ FOR OCEAN COUNTY FREEHOLDER

JOE VICARI HAS BEEN A FREEHOLDER FOR 39 YEARS!

COME ON IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE. IT’S TIME FOR THE FRESH IDEAS OF HELEN DELA CRUZ.

“The THREE biggest issues facing Ocean County are The Pandemic, Drug Addiction, and Taxes,” she said.

HELEN IS A HEALTHCARE HERO AND WHO BETTER THEN TO LEAD OCEAN COUNTY THROUGH THE 2ND WAVE OF THIS PANDEMIC AND DRUG ADDICTION!

DELA CRUZ is a Registered Nurse at the World f Famous Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, WITH A SPECIALTY IN DRUG ADDICTION. She planned to retire in March of this year but with the Pandemic raging on, she said, “I could not find it in my heart to leave at that time. I have to be true to my calling. I wanted to wait until it’s over or at least lets up.” (She retired on August 31, 2020)

DELA CRUZ stated, “We will work on expanding drug treatment programs and make them more accessible for those in need.”

Dela Cruz also said she wants to have a better education of the public about drug addiction.

ACCORDING TO THE Ocean County Health Dept. Website, “Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows an elevated drug overdose death rate in Ocean County when compared to both New Jersey and the United States as a whole. In 2017, the age-adjusted drug overdose death rate in Ocean County was 43 deaths per 100,000 people. Ocean County’s high drug overdose death rate is driven in large part by the Opioid crisis.”

Dela Cruz was a franchisee for 7-Eleven from 1987 to 2002. So, she understands the difficulties of owning a business.

Dela Cruz said, “As a three term Lacey Township Committeewoman I worked with the rest of the committee to stabilize taxes while providing necessary services, keeping the township safe and prosperous, and maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for each resident. This should be the goal of all elected officials.”

“I plan on stabilizing taxes by examining current spending and prioritizing future expenditures. I will propose a 2% spending cut in each department.”

Dela Cruz said, “I also will propose having eight (8) Freeholder meetings a year in different locations around the county, in order that residents that live farther away from Toms River can more easily attend.”

According to their site:

Freeholder Board Meeting Room #119

First Floor of the Administration Building

101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River on Wednesdays (unless otherwise indicated) at 4:00 pm

But Dela Cruz says, “That’s when many people are at work so I would move them to 7 p.m. so more members of the public can attend.”

The “All Republican Board Of Freeholders” and the Number of Years they have been in office are:

Vicari-38 years

Kelly-27 years

Little-17 years

Haines-4 years

Quinn-1 yr.

(That’s a Combined total of 87 years of one Parties Views!)

HELEN DELA CRUZ is INTELLIGENT, Determined, Compassionate And Committed to ALL RESIDENTS OF OCEAN COUNTY NOT JUST ONE PARTY!

REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR

HELEN DELA CRUZ FOR
