BASHAW CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCES “VETS FOR CURTIS”

Bashaw: Murphy-Menendez Regime Let Veterans Die in Deplorable Conditions

CAPE MAY – The campaign for Curtis Bashaw for United States Senate today announced the formation of “Vets for Curtis”. Vineland Director of Public Safety and former U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Edwin Alicea will serve as Chairman.

“The veteran’s community is excited to have Curtis Bashaw in the race to be our next United States Senator from New Jersey,” said Sergeant Alicea. “On important issues, ranging from border security to veteran’s healthcare and services, Curtis is ready to work to prioritize the needs of our vets.”

Alicea will serve as the liaison for the campaign to the veterans’ community in New Jersey.

“Veterans like Sergeant Alicea bravely served our country to defend our freedoms and our American way of life. We owe each and every one of them a debt of gratitude,” said Curtis Bashaw.  “Unfortunately, the current political leadership is broken, and the needs of our vets are not being met.  As we know from the scathing U.S. Department of Justice report, the Murphy-Menendez regime allowed for deplorable conditions in our veterans’ homes, resulting in 200 veteran deaths during COVID-19.  That would’ve never happened under my watch.  I am running for United States Senate to fight for our veterans and make sure they get the treatment and respect they deserve.”

A retired police lieutenant, Sgt. Alicea is the Director of Public Safety and Director of Veterans Affairs for the City of Vineland. He also works as an adjunct professor at Rowan University and Rowan College of South Jersey teaching law enforcement and terrorism classes.
