Bayonne Mayor-Elect Nadrowski Announces Labor and Workforce Transition Committee Co-Chairs
BAYONNE, NJ – Mayor-Elect Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski recently announced the appointment of Raymond Greaves and Patrick Kelleher as Co-Chairs of the Labor and Workforce Transition Committee, one of several committees established to help guide the transition to the incoming administration. The Labor and Workforce Transition Committee will help identify priorities and recommendations that support workers, strengthen workforce development programs, encourage economic growth, and ensure labor voices are represented as the new administration takes shape.
“Ray and Patrick are two highly respected labor leaders who have dedicated their careers to advocating for workers, creating opportunities, and strengthening our communities,” said Mayor-Elect Nadrowski. “Their combined experience, knowledge, and commitment to working families will be invaluable as we prepare to build an administration that listens to workers, partners with labor, and creates pathways to opportunity for Bayonne residents. I am grateful for their willingness to serve and excited about the work ahead.”
Raymond Greaves brings nearly five decades of experience in labor leadership, public service, and advocacy. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served with the Amalgamated Transit Union International, represented the public on the New Jersey Transit Board of Directors, and served as Bayonne’s Third Ward Council Member from 2010 to 2014. Greaves has also served on the Bayonne Zoning Board, the Bayonne Board of Education, and numerous civic organizations, earning a reputation as a dedicated advocate for workers and the Bayonne community.
Joining him as Co-Chair is Patrick Kelleher, President of the Hudson County Building Trades and a widely respected leader within the construction industry. Kelleher has played a significant role in advancing project labor agreements, strengthening workforce development initiatives, and fostering partnerships that support economic growth throughout the region. He also serves as Hudson County Business Agent and Assistant Business Manager for Plumbers Local 24, bringing decades of hands-on experience in organized labor and workforce development.
The Labor and Workforce Transition Committee will play a key role in advising the administration on issues affecting Bayonne’s workforce, labor partnerships, economic opportunity, workforce development, and policies that support working families.
This announcement follows Nadrowski’s recent call for residents interested in serving on municipal boards, commissions, advisory committees, and in various volunteer and administrative capacities within the incoming administration. She encouraged qualified residents from all backgrounds to apply and help shape the future of Bayonne. Mayor-Elect Nadrowski was elected in May 2026, becoming the first woman elected Mayor of Bayonne. Her administration will officially take office on July 1, 2026.
