for Re-Election

Statement from Melham – December 10, 2020

“Mayor Wilda Diaz has been the experienced, proven leader that Perth
Amboy needs. She is hyperfocused on serving each and every
neighborhood, always seeking opportunities to improve the local
quality of life. Mayor Diaz continues to break the glass ceiling, so
to speak, serving as the first female mayor in one of the oldest
cities in the United States, while also known statewide as a leading
Latina woman.  It is my strong hope that she can continue the progress
in Perth Amboy, where her leadership has led to drastic improvement
and investment  throughout the entire city. That is why she has my
strong endorsement.”
