BERGEN COUNTY CLERK TO BE KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT LAW DAY CELEBRATION

On Monday, May 2nd at 3 pm, the Bergen Vicinage will hold its annual
Law Day program. The Program entitled “Toward a More Perfect
Union: The Constitution in Times of Change” will be held at the Court
Street entrance to the Bergen County Justice Center, 10 Main St.,
Hackensack.

The keynote speaker will be Bergen County Clerk, John S. Hogan.
Assignment Judge Bonnie J. Mizdol will administer the oath of
citizenship to 30 new citizens.

The Bergen County Clerk’s Office is excited to host the “My County”
poster contest again after a 2 year hiatus due to covid. Twenty-six
towns participated in the contest with 636 submissions. Mr. Hogan
along with Bergen County Surrogate Michael Dressler and Sheriff
Anthony Cureton, will present 20 students with trophies. There will
be a 1 st place, 2 nd place, 3 rd place and 17 honorable mention winners.
The winning posters will be featured in the 2023 Bergen County
Election Calendar.
