OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM BERGEN COUNTY EXECUTIVE JIM TEDESCO
HACKENSACK, N.J. – Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco, III releases the following statement following the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of Julien Neals to serve on the U.S. District Court:
“I would like to congratulate my friend and colleague Julien Neals who was just confirmed 66-33 by the US Senate to become a federal judge for the US District Court. There is no person more qualified and deserving of this honor. Everyone who has had the opportunity to work with Julien knows he is a gentleman of great character, capability, and integrity, and he will serve the federal bench with fairness and distinction. On a personal note, I am lucky to have had Julien as an integral part of my administration for the past six and a half years. While bittersweet, Bergen County’s loss is truly our nation’s gain.”
