Bergenfield Vaccinates 200 Seniors at Murray Hill Senior Center

This was made possible thanks to coordination between the Borough, the Housing Authority of Bergen County and Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco

BERGENFIELD, NJ — Bergenfield, in partnership with the Housing Authority of Bergen County and Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco was able to vaccinate 200 seniors at Murray Hill Senior Center. The vaccines were administered by Bergen New Bridge Medical staff on April 7.

“It is critical that we vaccinate our most vulnerable populations as quickly as possible to ensure that they are protected from COVID-19,” said Mayor Amatorio. “I would like to thank Bergen County Executive Tedesco and the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Bergen County Lynn Bartlett for working with us to make this happen. Their support and help throughout this process has been invaluable.”

This comes in addition to the 200 doses of vaccine that the Borough secured from the state that will go towards vaccinating homebound residents and the daily vaccinations taking place at Conlon Hall.
