BHAVESH PATEL NAMED CHAIR OF NEW JERSEY RESTAURANT & HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATION

 

Trenton, NJ – Bhavesh Patel was voted in as the 2021 chair of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association. Bhavesh has been a board member of the association since 2016.

“It’s a great honor and privilege with great responsibility to serve as Chairman of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association(NJRHA).   March of 2020 with Covid-19 pandemic, our hospitality industry has been crippled and paralyzed.  Since then, NJRHA has moved away from our pervious goals and strategic plan and primary focus on helping out members survive. For 2021, our goal will be the recovery and survival of the hospitality industry.

 

“With Bhavesh’s strong association and industry leadership, he is the perfect person to lead the organization during this time” said NJRHA President, Marilou Halvorsen.

Bhavesh was the 2017-18 Past Chair of AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association), the voice of America’s hotel owners. He has been an active member of the association since 1994, During his Chairmanship, he launched serval key programs to help members like, Mentor/Mentee Program, Internship Opportunity with Industry Partners Program, Launch and made combating Human Trafficking a top priority for the association and the hotel industry and lastly helped launched AAHOA Hotel Owners Academy.

Bhavesh also made working with the American Hotel and Lodging Association a priority during his time as Chair of AAHOA.

I am excited for his year as Chairman of NJRHA and look forward to working side by side with him to protect and promote the hotel industry in New Jersey.”  Said Chip Rogers    President & CEO of American Hotel and Lodging Association.

A native of London, England, Bhavesh moved with his family to the United States in 1976.

Bhavesh is a principal of ADM Hotels, a family-owned, full-service real estate company, specializing in hospitality management, development, and investments. The ADM Hotels portfolio features several branded and independent hotel properties concentrated in the northeastern United States.

Bhavesh is an active member of his community. He is a past President of Charotaria Leuva Patidar Seva Samaj and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. Bhavesh also served as President of the Runnemede, Bellmawr, Glendora Rotary Club, where he earned the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow designation.

Bhavesh is an active supporter of youth education. He serves as the “village representative” for Barasadi Primary School, which is a part of the Tiny Smiling Faces Foundation.

Bhavesh and his wife Amita have two sons, Nikhil and Milan. The Patels reside in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
