If there was any doubt after the candidate forum on Monday where Anthony offered a feeble defense of his votes against universal background checks and gun free zones at schools and Brian conflated weapons of war to slingshots, there’s certainly none left now: Anthony Bucco and Brian Bergen are bought and paid for by the NRA.

Last minute campaign contributions from the NRA to Anthony and Brian’s election funds became public today, just four days out from the election. The contributions totalled $1,500.

“It’s no surprise that after watching their floundering campaign slip in the polls, the NRA is rushing in with a last-ditch attempt to buy the election and save the seats of their loyal lap dogs, Anthony Bucco and Brian Bergen,” said Daniel Fleiss, Bhimani and Draeger Campaign Manager.

“They might try to hide their radical position on guns behind political double-speak and glossy mailers about school safety, but the truth is Anthony and Brian oppose every common-sense gun safety measure that would keep our communities safe. If you don’t believe us, just ask the NRA.”
