Bramnick advice to Murphy on masks in schools: Listen to the public and medical experts with Legislative hearings

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Jon Branmick criticized Gov. Phil Murphy for again unilaterally setting new rules and bypassing the state legislature.“Decisions related to Covid policy continue to be made without any legislative hearings,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “My concern focuses on the rights of every citizen to be heard through their legislature with an opportunity to hear from medical experts. We have held many hearings on less serious subjects. Democracy requires transparency.”
Gov. Phil Murphy is set to announce New Jersey will require students and staff members in kindergarten through 12th grade to wear masks after all at the start of the new school year. |
