Bramnick: Murphy’s plan raising property taxes to pay for borrowing is a bad plan.
TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick spoke out against Gov. Phil Murphy’s plan to borrow at least $5 billion to offset revenue losses, which is up for a vote Thursday in the state Assembly.

“Tomorrow the state Assembly is being asked to permit the Murphy administration to borrow billions of dollars,” said Bramnick (R-Union). “This legislation will place the cost of the new debt on your property tax bill.  No reforms, no cap on state spending, no reduction in the size of government.  It is a bad plan.”
