ROCKAWAY, N.J. – The Bucco and Bergen for Assembly campaign released the following statement regarding Lisa Bhimani and Darcy Draeger’s continued, complete and total inability to state a position on the Democratic budget signed in June:

“For four months, our campaign has called on Bhimani and Draeger to come clean with 25th district voters and say where they stand on the state budget that slashes school funding across the district, raises taxes and spending by billions of dollars, and provides zero relief for the highest property taxes in the country. Our calls have been met with complete and total silence,” said Rob Costello, Bucco and Bergen campaign manager. “Just last night at the LWV Forum, several times, Brian and Anthony directly asked them to state their position once and for all. Every single time, Bhimani and Draeger sat silently, providing no response.”

“This is the single most important vote a legislator makes, and it is completely unacceptable that they continue to hide on where they stand. So we ask again: where do Lisa Bhimani and Darcy Draeger stand on the budget? Don’t hold your breath for an answer, though.”
