Burlington County GOP Endorses Dynamic Slate of Candidates

Earlen

MEDFORD, NJ – Following an open and thorough vetting process, the Burlington County Republican Screening Committee recommended a dynamic and impressive slate of 2024 congressional and county candidates Saturday morning, which the entire county committee voted unanimously to endorse.

The Burlington County Republican Committee backed the following candidates to take on the radical Democrats up and down the ballot:

To begin the work now to unseat the incumbent Democrats pushing their radical agenda in Washington, D.C., and Burlington County, the Burlington County Republican Committee backed:

Curtis Bashaw for US Senate

Teddy Liddell in the First Congressional District

Rajesh Mohan in the Third Congressional District

Johnathan Duff for Burlington County Commissioner

Nick Pawlyzyn for Burlington County Commissioner

“The Burlington County Republican Committee is ready to take the fight to the New Jersey Democrats with a slate that is ready to put the people of Burlington County first and stop the increasingly radical agenda of our opponents,” said Chairman Sean Earlen. “We’re proud to be endorsing a slate of candidates that will take back the U.S. Senate seat, build on the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, and bring fresh ideas to Mount Holly.”

Johnathan Duff is a state-licensed insurance producer from Southampton Township who focuses on bringing affordable healthcare to working class families. Johnathan is running for County Commissioner to bring twenty-first century leadership to Burlington County government with a focus on combating addiction, building the middle class, and making life more affordable for Burlington County residents. “We need to expand access to trade and vo-tech schools, restore fiscal responsibility, and take a 360-degree approach to crime in our neighborhoods – and Nick Pawlyzyn and I will do just that,” Duff stated.

Nick Pawlyzyn has served as a New Hanover Township Committeeman for the last five years. As Committeeman, Nick worked to upgrade both the police and fire departments, deliver the lowest crime rate in the county, and provide needed repairs to the local senior center. He is now running for County Commissioner to make our communities safer, expand programming for our seniors, and put affordability front and center in Mount Holly. “I ran for office to deliver results, not more empty rhetoric,” Pawlyzyn said. “When Johnathan Duff and I take office, we will ensure that Burlington County residents have a real voice for affordability, transparency, and public safety.”

Curtis Bashaw is the owner and operator of the famed Congress Hall Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey. Throughout his career, Curtis has worked to build communities and bring people together. Curtis is a successful businessman and job creator, employing more than 1,000 people in New Jersey and New York. “Curtis Bashaw is the real-deal and offers the kind of forward-thinking leadership we desperately need in the Senate,” Earlen noted. “With his successful track record in the private sector and his willingness to take on the tough issues facing New Jersey families, he will be a breath of fresh air in D.C.”

Chairman Earlen noted that Rajesh Mohan is the perfect candidate for a competitive race in the Third Congressional District. Dr. Rajesh Mohan has served communities for over 20 years as a quadruple board-certified cardiologist. He holds an MBA and serves as the President and Managing Partner of a prominent multi-specialty medical practice. “Dr Mohan has a long and impressive resume that extends past just his work in medicine,” Earlen said. “He has a proven track record and the leadership qualities we desperately need in D.C.”

As the First Congressional District candidate, Teddy Liddell will look to unseat Congressman Donald Norcross. Teddy is a West Point Graduate, former Captain in the US Army, and accomplished attorney. “Teddy Liddell will take the fight to the Camden County Democrat Machine,” said Earlen. “And we know he will work hard to ensure Republican victories up and down the ballot.”
