Caba calls Runoff Election Results a ‘Victory for Perth Amboy’
Candidate Praises Voters; Thanks Dedicated Supporters
PERTH AMBOY, NJ – (Dec. 17, 2020) – With a substantial lead in Tuesday’s runoff election for mayor, candidate Helmin J. Caba says his team’s anticipated win would be “a victory for everyone who lives and works in Perth Amboy,” pledging to “begin delivering positive community changes in January.”
“My running mates and I are humbled and honored to have received so much support from the residents of our proud city. A majority of voters have clearly embrace our ‘2020 Vision’ for a better, brighter Perth Amboy,” said Caba, speaking on behalf of his City Council slate Rose B. Morales and Bienvenido “BJ” Torres Jr..
“The unofficial election results indicate more than personal victories for our slate. They are a victory for everyone who lives and works in Perth Amboy. My running mates and I are ready to begin delivering positive community changes in January,” said Caba, who is also the city’s Democratic chairman.
“Rose, BJ and I are extremely thankful for the many months of dedicated support and encouragement that we received from our families and friends, from community supporters, our dedicated campaign staff and workers,” said Caba. “We can all be very proud of what we accomplished.”
