Suspects posing as Clerks Office employees

(Camden, NJ) – Please be aware of two males stating they are from the Camden County Clerk’s Office attempting to gain entry into homes in Gloucester City. The Camden County Clerk’s Office has no home inspectors and employees would never be making a home visit for any reason.

Two males, one white and one Latino, have been knocking on residences doors stating they are trying to gain entry into homes to inspect damage. When they were questioned, they immediately left the area in a Ford F-150 marked with a Green Leaf Landscaping insignia and a PA registration.

“I want residents to be vigilant in case someone comes to your door saying they are from the Clerk’s Office,” Clerk Joe Ripa said. “Do not let anyone into your home who shows up without a proper identification and appointment for any reason.”
