Cherry Hill — Phil Murphy was endorsed yesterday by the Camden County Democratic Committee, earning the honor by acclimation.

Murphy was nominated by Congressman Donald Norcross.

“New Jersey needs someone with Phil’s commitment to growing jobs and wages to keep our communities strong,” said Norcross. “I look forward to working with him to move South Jersey and our state forward.”

“Camden County is proud to stand with Phil because we know he will not only represent our values in Trenton, but will ensure New Jersey stands above in protecting our residents when Donald Trump’s policies threaten them,” said County Chairman and state Sen. Jim Beach.

“Camden County will play a vital role in the effort to turn our economy around and get New Jersey working again,” said Murphy. “I thank the committee’s members for their overwhelming support and look forward to working with them in the times ahead.”
