Cary Amaro: Thank you for your support!

Thank you for your support!
Although the results are yet to be certified, I want to thank the over 131,000 people who put your faith in me. I am honored to have your support!

This year, a historic number of Morris County residents showed up to cast their ballot. This is just the beginning of keeping our elected officials accountable and informed of our perspective. Let’s keep engaged, request the Freeholder, soon to be Morris County Commissioner, stay online to foster community involvement and remember you matter & your voice has power! I implore you to stay involved in local issues. The only way democracy works is when every citizens has their voices heard. Your involvement does not end on election day.

I am thankful for all the support I have received over the past year and the friends I have made along the way. Thank you to the many wonderful volunteers who worked tirelessly for the last 8 months to register voters, staff events, make phone calls & drop literature in the midst of COVID.

Thank you to everyone who endorsed me. Thank you to Andrea Zeydelis, my campaign manager and friend, I could not have done it without you. Thank you to our interns Victoria Wie and Samantha Escobar for your innovative ideas and commitment to being a part of the team.  Thank you, Chip Robinson and the entire Morris County Democratic Party for your guidance and support.

Finally, a very special thanks to my family and friends for supporting me in my  passionate pursuit of public service. To my children, thank you for standing by me.  I am incredibly proud of you and in a world where being Latino, a woman, and a single mom is not an easy feat; words cannot express the love & pride I have in representing you and our community.

I am grateful to have met so many people in the past several months who care for Morris County residents and businesses just as much as I do. Even though I’m not the person who will be representing you as a Freeholder – I will continue to fight for Morris County!

Stay safe. Be well. Thank you for your support!
