Lepano Institute Press Release: Catholics Organize Rosary Rally to Oppose College Radio Station

LEPANO INSTITUTE PRESS RELEASE

Catholics Organize Rosary Rally to Oppose ‘Satanic Radio Station’

The Lepanto Institute is sponsoring a rally and Rosary of Reparation calling for the shutdown of WSOU, a radio station owned and operated by the Catholic Archdiocesan university, Seton Hall. [The Lepano Institute claims] WSOU is notorious for broadcasting music that glorifies graphic violence and mutilation of women, suicide, and occult demonic activity.

The rally will begin at 10:30 in the park across the street from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

Speaking at the event will be Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute as well as notable Catholic radio host Jesse Romero and a prominent special guest to be announced.  Following brief speeches will be a Rosary procession with holy relics.

“WSOU is broadcasting bands and songs that are blasphemous, openly satanic, promote sacrilege, promote the murder and mutilation of women and children and the slaughter of Christians,” stated Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute. “It is an absolute scandal and travesty that the Archdiocese of Newark has permitted its own Catholic university to continue to poison the very souls entrusted to it with demonic messaging.”

According to its own website, Seton Hall University falls under the authority of the Archdiocese of Newark.

“Cardinal Tobin is well aware of the disgusting and violent content of WSOU,” continued Hichborn.  “Unfortunately he has refused to meet with concerned Catholics up to this point, we’re looking to change that with today’s event. Hopefully Our Lady can help convince the cardinal where his loyalties should lie.”

Details for the rally are as follows:
