Cericola and Ritchie Declare Candidacy for Waldwick Council

Today, Republicans Katie Cericola and Michael Ritchie announced their campaign for Waldwick Borough Council in 2021. They have been chosen to run by the Waldwick Republican Party and will look to carry forward the good works of Mayor Giordano and the Republican council members.

Cericola, 26, is a life-long Waldwick resident and graduate of Waldwick High School. She is a Senior Internal Auditor at a pharmaceutical company based in Bergen County. Cericola looks to bring her lifetime of experience in the town and strong financial background to help continue to keep the borough finances stable.

Ritchie, 38, is a devoted husband and father to two young children. His wife, Jen, is a lifelong Waldwick resident and they have chosen to make Waldwick their home. He is part of an innovative oncology biotech where he leads all commercial and research teams. He also completed an MBA at New York University with a focus in finance. This background makes him uniquely suited to face the challenges confronting the borough.

“These two candidates are exactly what Waldwick needs,” said Mayor Tom Giordano, “the perfect combination of new ideas and strong experience.” Cericola and Ritchie look forward to meeting with Waldwick residents in the coming months and sharing their vision for the borough.
