Chatham Library Foundation Welcomes Judy‑Ann Hargrove as Development Director

Chatham, NJ- The Chatham Library Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Judy‑Ann Hargrove, M.A. as its new Development Director, a key position responsible for leading fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and community outreach in support of the Library of the Chathams.

Judy‑Ann brings more than 15 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, and nonprofit collaboration, with a proven ability to build thoughtful, multi‑channel campaigns that inspire action and strengthen community connections. Her background spans the pharmaceutical, retail, and nonprofit sectors, where she has led creative teams, managed high‑impact partnerships, and developed programs that elevate mission‑driven organizations. She has also chaired and co‑chaired fundraising initiatives for community organizations, helping to engage stakeholders, build support, and advance philanthropic goals through strategic communications and volunteer leadership.

In addition to her professional expertise, Judy‑Ann has volunteered with the Library of the Chathams and served on the committee that helped establish the Chatham Library Foundation.

She also brings a long history of community service through organizations focused on education, youth development, and empowerment, including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Phi Theta Omega Chapter; Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Morris County Chapter; Habitat for Humanity; Feeding America; and the American Heart Association. Her work supporting initiatives that help students build confidence, expand opportunities, and develop essential life skills aligns closely with the Foundation’s commitment to lifelong learning and community enrichment.

Judy‑Ann and her husband, Brian Hargrove, have been married for 27 years and have three children, Ethan, Olivia, and Grant. The Hargrove family has called Chatham home for more than 21 years, deepening Judy‑Ann’s connection to the community she now serves in this new role.

Known for her strategic vision and collaborative approach, Judy‑Ann will guide the Foundation’s development efforts at a pivotal moment as the organization works to advance its construction project and build the philanthropic support needed to ensure the Library of the Chathams continues to thrive for generations.
