***HEALTH ALERT***

Some Paterson residents that are positive for COVID-19 are not sharing their close contact information with the Communicable Disease Strike Team. This is becoming a disturbing trend. If information is withheld then there is no monitoring of contacts and implementation of preventive measures. The result will be an increasing number household contacts getting infected and spreading the disease within the City and elsewhere.  Isolating those that are ill and those that may have had close contacts with an infected person from those that are not ill in a timely manner is key to the mitigation process and reducing the number new infections.

You are urged to fully cooperate with the Strike Team during the epidemiological investigation. This will help to reduce the number of infections and the number of deaths in our city

Algunos residentes de Paterson que son positivos con COVID-19 no comparten su información de contacto cercana con el Equipo de ataque de enfermedades transmisibles.  Esto se está convirtiendo en una tendencia inquietante.  Si la información es retenida, entonces no hay monitoreo de contactos y implementación de medidas preventivas.  El resultado será un número cada vez mayor de contactos domésticos que se infectarán y propagarán la enfermedad dentro de la ciudad y en otros lugares.  Aislar a aquellos que están enfermos y aquellos que pueden haber tenido contactos cercanos con una persona infectada de aquellos que no están enfermos de manera oportuna es clave para el proceso de mitigación y reducir la cantidad de nuevas infecciones.

Se le insta a cooperar completamente con el Equipo de ataque durante la investigación epidemiológica.  Esto ayudará a reducir la cantidad de infecciones y la cantidad de muertes en nuestra ciudad.
