CITY OF PATERSON MAYOR TO ANNOUNCE PUBLIC SAFETY COMMAND CENTER FOR CITY.

The command center will help increase the city’s capacity for public safety.

Mayor Andre together with Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale and Economic Development Director Michael Powell will announce the creation of the centralized communication command center. This facility will stand as a consolidated public safety operations center that will house dispatch units for both the police department and fire department, the Office of Emergency Management, as well as a space for a Code Blue warming shelter for the homeless.
