CITY OF PATERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BEGIN USING BODY CAMERAS
Paterson Police officers will conduct a body worn camera demonstration.

Mayor Andre Sayegh together with Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale will announce that the City of Paterson Police Department will begin to utilize body cameras. In 2020, Mayor Sayegh made a commitment to the city residents that police officers will be trained and begin to use the body cameras. This will allow for greater transparency in the police department.

Joining Mayor Sayegh and director Speziale will be officers who are trained in the use of the body worn camera.
