CITY OF PATERSON PREPARES FOR POSSIBLE 2ND WAVE OF COVID
Mayor Sayegh and Commissioner Persichilli to announce “testing on demand.”

 

PATERSON – On Monday, September 28, Mayor Andre Sayegh joined by New Jersey Health Commissioner, Judith Persichilli and City of Paterson Health Officer Dr. Paul Persaud will announce preparation plans for the possible influx of COVID cases during the colder months.

 

Included in the plans is a mobile testing unit that will be available day and night in the City of Paterson. The unit will move throughout the city, aiming to administer the COVID test to as many individuals as possible and targeting those who are asymptomatic and may be unknowingly transmitting COVID.
