Civil Service Commission to Host Hispanic Outreach Virtual Information Sessions
Sessions to discuss how to apply to State and local government jobs

Trenton – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission will continue its Virtual Information Sessions to promote careers in State and local government. The upcoming series of sessions will provide outreach to communities of Hispanic heritage in the Garden State and will be translated into Spanish. All New Jersey job seekers are welcomed to attend these sessions.

The Hispanic Outreach Virtual Information Sessions will be held on the following dates:

• Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

“Our Virtual Information Sessions have reached hundreds of job seekers across the State,” said Civil Service Commission Chair/CEO Deirdré Webster Cobb, Esq., “Earlier this year our Hispanic Heritage sessions reached many interested job seekers; we hope to continue our efforts with these sessions to help us find more diverse candidates to join the civil service workforce.”

Each session will include an hour-long overview on how to apply for State and local government jobs. Attendees will be provided resource materials and will also have the opportunity to hear from CSC representatives who will answer questions related to the application process.
