Coalition of over 400 Latino pastors and ministers, representing over 10,000 congregants in Legislative District 20 proudly endorses Senator Cryan, Assemblywoman Quijano, and Reverend Atkins

We have seen, through the Coronavirus pandemic, just how devastating lack of leadership can be. Senator Cryan, Assemblywoman Quijano, and Reverend Atkins are all strong community leaders who realize the importance of supplying people with trustworthy information during this crisis. They seek to ensure that our frontline workers have all the resources they need to keep themselves and the communities they serve safe. Their commitment to the issues of education aid, sexual abuse, creating opportunities for our Immigrant community, social justice and racial equity in communities throughout the district and across the state should continue to be supported. They are working to make New Jersey a better, safer place for all.

As clergy, we understand all too well the importance of compassionate leadership to address the diverse needs of all residents of our state, particularly the voiceless. It is critical that our elected officials identify and understand the needs of those among us that are too often cast aside, and work to help bring true and positive change. We are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. It is important that we maintain a strong sense of community and work to better the everyday lives of our neighbors. Senator Cryan, Assemblywoman Quijano, and Reverend Atkins possess a deep understanding of the complex socio-economic issues affecting so many New Jerseyans today and stand ready to work for them. They will lead this district with firm, unwavering leadership and work on behalf of all its citizens.
