LIVINGSTON – Today, former Governor and current Senator Richard J. Codey (D-27) released the following statement:

“I’d like to commend Governor Murphy on his nomination of Robert J. Carroll, Esq., to serve as Morris County Prosecutor.”

“He will bring a new spirit to the Morris County Prosecutor’s office. Bob has a well-established and very successful prosecutorial background. During his time at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, he served as Chief of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Task Force and did an incredible job, winning convictions of some of the state’s most dangerous and notorious criminals.”

“He has also served in the Sussex County and Essex County Prosecutor’s offices in the past. He knows how to treat people fairly, no matter their background or situation. The employees of the Prosecutor’s Office will be respected, and will be led by someone who has earned respect as well.”
