Community Options’ $500 COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive Proves Effective, Vaccinations Amongst Staff Triples

Princeton, NJ – Community Options, Inc. lauds the preliminary success of its $500 incentive bonus for all employees who become fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As of today, the number of documented vaccinations amongst employees has tripled since the initial announcement.

Community Options is a national nonprofit that develops housing and employment programs for people with disabilities. Community Options supports over 5,000 people with disabilities across 10 states.

Last month, the organization announced a $500 incentive bonus for all its employees hired prior to October 1, 2021, who become fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 30, 2021. Since the initial announcement, a total of 1,148 Community Options employees have provided documentation confirming their full vaccination status.

“I am beyond delighted by the initial success of our $500 bonus incentive program. These encouraging numbers do not just reflect a significant increase in vaccinations amongst staff, but also a significant increase in the overall health and safety amongst the many people with disabilities we support through our programs across the nation,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO. “I applaud those who participated in our call-to-action, and I continue to urge all of our employees to participate.”

Many individuals supported by Community Options require 24/7 care from direct support professionals and other staff. The incentive program will further protect this vulnerable population.
