Town Hall in Florence Township

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced that he will host a town hall meeting in Florence Township on Monday, December 2nd at 8pm.

“My priorities in Congress don’t start in Washington, they start at home by listening to our neighbors at our monthly town halls,” said Kim. “There are important issues facing our families every day; from protecting the Joint Base to ending the use of dangerous PFAS chemicals in our communities to ensuring our military families have every opportunity to achieve the American Dream, I look forward to talking with people across Burlington and Ocean Counties so I can take your priorities back to Congress.”

This will be the fifteenth town hall held by Congressman Kim during the 116th Congress, and part of a monthly series to allow the Congressman to hear directly from constituents throughout New Jersey’s Third District.

The Congressman, focused on issues impacting the lives of people in Burlington and Ocean Counties, will provide an update on efforts to strengthen Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and military families, as well as legislation to lower health care and prescription drug costs.

“I want to thank Mayor Wilkie of Florence for opening his community center for our town hall,” said Kim. “I look forward to spending time with our neighbors on issues we face everyday.”
