WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released the following statement on the Trilateral Summit with South Korea and Japan.

“The summit today between the U.S., South Korea, and Japan is historic. This gathering at Camp David symbolizes a new era of engagement, cooperation, and stability in the Indo-Pacific. When I traveled to South Korea and Japan last year, I spoke with leaders from both countries and heard how they wanted to continue their strong relationship with America.

“I commend both President Yoon and Prime Minister Kishida for agreeing to this summit, and I commend President Biden for pulling this summit together to build a strong, lasting, and secure future.”
