Congressman Donald Norcross Endorsed for Re-Election by Progressive Caucus

CHERRY HILL, NJ – The Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC (CPC PAC) – the political arm of the Congressional Progressive Caucus – announced the endorsement of U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross, who serves as the Caucus’ Vice-Chair and Liaison to Labor, for re-election in the 2020 election cycle. Norcross is one of 31 incumbent progressive champions who received this endorsement.

“Together, we need to strongly stand up to Trump and his Republican enablers and stop their assault on America’s working families, our health care, our values, and our conscience,” said Congressman Donald Norcross. “I hope to earn the opportunity to continue proudly serving South Jersey in Congress, and I am thankful for the support I’ve received from our local community and progressive partners and allies throughout the nation. In particular, I thank the Co-Chairs of the Progressive Caucus, Reps. Pocan and Jayapal, for their support as we work together to move America forward.”

“I’m proud to stand with Congressman Norcross as we fight for our shared progressive priorities, from reducing the costs of childcare and prescription drugs to protecting the rights of America’s immigrants,” said Progressive Caucus Co-Chair Pramila Jayapal. “Don’s unique perspective as a labor leader and worker advocate is critical to the success of our progressive agenda to raise wages and lift up working families.”

“Donald and I both come from union backgrounds and understand how important it is that we give workers a voice in their workplaces. The people of South Jersey are lucky to have an advocate for working families representing them in Congress, and we are lucky to have Don raising his voice in the Progressive Caucus as Vice-Chair,” said Progressive Caucus Co-Chair Mark Pocan. “Don knows that our country will only thrive if everyone in it thrives and I am proud to call him an ally and a friend.”
