Congressman Kim Announces Congressional Art Competition

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced his office is taking virtual submissions for the annual Congressional Art Competition, allowing students from across Burlington and Ocean Counties to have their art displayed in the U.S. Capitol. Congressman Kim’s office will be taking submissions until May 29th and will be announcing a winner shortly thereafter.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a great tradition, and a reminder of the incredible young artists right in our own communities,” said Congressman Kim. “These are tough times for all New Jerseyans; but hope shines through in the creativity and talent we’ll see through the art submitted. I encourage all eligible students to get involved and submit an entry.”

The Congressional Art Competition is held each spring and is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The competition is open to all high school students and the winning artwork is displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will include the winning artwork from all participating districts from around the country. The winning artwork is also featured on the House of Representatives’ Congressional Art Competition page.
