Congressman Kim to Hold Telephone Town Hall
on Veterans’ Issues

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced that he will be holding a telephone town hall on Thursday, July 23^rd at 5:30pm to discuss issues impacting the veterans’ community including access to health care and job opportunities during the Coronavirus crisis. This will be the Congressman’s 23^rd town hall since coming into office.

Congressman Kim will be joined by Congressman Mark Takano (CA-41), the chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, who will provide an update on what Congress is doing to help provide for New Jersey’s veterans.

Congressman Kim has been a leading advocate for New Jersey’s veterans, working to hold the VA accountable for their failure to bring a new veterans’ health care facility to Ocean County, and introducing bipartisan legislation to protect veterans from VA errors and help veterans identify employment opportunities during their transition to civilian life.
